Better Late Then Never

Took a nice little roadie to see one of my best friends at ASU recently,

this post is a tad late so don't judge!

Olivia was definitely the mastermind behind us somehow pulling off this trip and surprising Celina.

It couldn't have gone any better.

We had been planning this trip for over a month and eventually we packed up as much unnecessary crap as we could and headed off on our 6 hour drive to see our best friend. Filled with tons of loud singing, gossip, and snacks of course.

When we got there one of her roommates just happened to be home to let us in and Celina had been napping so we quietly woke her up...... NOT!! 

Let me tell you she was definitely surprised and stayed surprised for a good hour or two it was so awesome.

So here is a little glimpse from our weekend in Tempe, Arizona.

Seriously so much fun! I cannot wait to go back again. I love all the hot weather and the rad people not to mention the great little places to eat around there. 

Definitely go to Tempe/Scottsdale if you ever have a chance!

Needed a little getaway 

So my sister, best friend, and I took a quick roadie to my Mom's house in

Huntington Beach. Our trip is not quite over yet, but there's already a ton of pictures from today so I figured a new post was a perfect idea! 

We road through Huntington so we could show Vic the most amazing chai tea ever invented at this awesome little place called Sit & Stay. Check it out next time you are in town, it's amazeballs. The girls get the chai and I always order the iced soy chocolate milk, weird I know, but it's soooo delicious!

 After that things got serious.... 

Ken turned into a photographer, Vic suddenly became props & positions, and Maddy was in charge of set design and this is the results.......

Family Fun

       This past weekend I was fortune enough to spend a ton of time with my family, I don't typically get to do this anymore because everyone is so busy with their own lives especially now that we aren't all little kids anymore. On Friday it was my cousin, Nick's birthday so a group of my family all went to a restaurant called Miyabi's, it's basically just like Benihana's. Super delicious, so definitely stop on by for a date night or a birthday dinner if you get a chance! I forced them to take a million pictures with me so be prepared for the overly cheesy pics.

The following night was my other cousin, Leah's dance show. She has been a Lancer Dancer since her first year in High School and if you know anything about this team you know they are the absolute best so for her to be on it since freshman year is incredible. She of course did phenomenal,  Leah is vertically challenged like me and is also one of the best on the team from my point of view (maybe i'm biased) but because of that she was always in front!

Car rides with these people are always peaceful CRAZY

They continued to make fun of my turban saying I looked like a hippie 

so I just went with it and busted out a peace sign

PS. like always my sisters will probably be wearing one next time I see them :)

I was a little overly obsessed  because I thought it looked like a Fairy wand... Look at the flowers! It's as cute as it was delicious.
