Gemini Twins

Happy Birthday to my sweet little gemini sista from another mista
SHELBY RAE
This girl rocks my socks and I'm so grateful we have remained friends all these years...
all the way back to middle school when we would make up secret code names for boys (grapes) and design
overly trendy shirts covered in puffy paint.
I love you so much my dear and I hope you have a rockin' birthday

Ps. I dug deep into the depths of my ancient photobucket account to find these gems,
enjoy!

Clearly we thought we were the coolest kids on the block for preforming a routine
as Spice Girls
(left to right: Victoria as sporty spice, Ellie as Posh, Shelby as Ginger Spice, Me as Crazy Spice, and Chloe as Baby Spice)

So uh yeah this pic is rather awk but hey it really shows off our early modeling days
riiiiiiight?!

gosh we look like infants
(I hated smiling obviiiii)

ahhhhh the start of the dark hair days!

FAST FORWARD

Now I will give a little up to date look at the Birthday Girl
Here is a few shots I took of her recently....

 Happy 21st Birthday
xoxo

Family Fun

This past weekend I was fortune enough to spend a ton of time with my family, I don't typically get to do this anymore because everyone is so busy with their own lives especially now that we aren't all little kids anymore. On Friday it was my cousin, Nick's birthday so a group of my family all went to a restaurant called Miyabi's, it's basically just like Benihana's. Super delicious, so definitely stop on by for a date night or a birthday dinner if you get a chance! I forced them to take a million pictures with me so be prepared for the overly cheesy pics.

Ps. I took this pictures the same night as the peplum pic's
 so don't worry I wasn't a repeat offender haha

Birthday Boy!

Dancing and catching shrimp in his mouth all
 while wearing this awesome Kimono

Love my Family!

The following night was my other cousin, Leah's dance show. She has been a Lancer Dancer since her first year in High School and if you know anything about this team you know they are the absolute best so for her to be on it since freshman year is incredible. She of course did phenomenal,  Leah is vertically challenged like me and is also one of the best on the team from my point of view (maybe i'm biased) but because of that she was always in front!

Car rides with these people are always peaceful CRAZY

They continued to make fun of my turban saying I looked like a hippie
so I just went with it and busted out a peace sign
PS. like always my sisters will probably be wearing one next time I see them :)

Chocolate covered pretzel..... yum!

I was a little overly obsessed  because I thought it looked like a Fairy wand... Look at the flowers! It's as cute as it was delicious.

Here is the beautiful superstar of the night!
Love you Leah!!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

For most, today is a day to wear green or run around and pinch those who aren't covered in it. It's about gathering with your family and eating the traditional corn beef and cabbage. It's about dressing up with friends and hanging out at the local pub till late hours of the night. For me not so much..... Today was my sweet Grandma's 80th birthday. She recently passed away on Christmas eve this last year just a day before her youngest son's birthday, my Dad. Usually on St. Patrick's Day I would make my way over to my Grandma's house and as I would open the door I would see her dressed head to toe in geen and sparkles with some sort of chocolate in hand. This year was not the same. Today everything felt off, I have a hard time expalining it other then exactly that. I miss her singing, I miss her laugh, I miss her silly stories, and her dancing. I know she is up in Heaven celebrating with her loving husband and hopefully Elvis too, because she LOVES him! I just wish she was here celebrating with us.... I know our life here on earth is short so I will see her soon enough, but I just hope she knows how much we all love her!

Happy Birthday Grandma :) Just one day closer till we will see you again!!!
